CEREC – One Visit Dentistry
The Best in Dental Technology
Desert Hills Dental is proud to provide CEREC®3-D Technology to our patients in need of ceramic restorations. The CEREC®system has revolutionized the dental field making patients lives easier. In the past crowns required messy molds, and sending impressions away to labs, only to have the patient to return a week or so later.
Only 7.5% of dentists in the United States have advanced their office using this technology. Using metal free materials that are the closest to your natural enamel, CEREC® gives you the highest quality restorative care available.
Gone are the days where the patient must return for multiple visits to complete a restoration. CEREC®Technology can design, fabricate and place a ceramic restoration in just one visit! Imagine getting a crown in one single visit!
No Messy Impressions Needed
With CEREC®, the need for temporaries or impressions has been eliminated. Let’s face it, having to make an dental impression can be uncomfortable. Sitting back with a bite tray in your mouth hoping the “goop” they use for impressions stays right where it is. Not to mention it’s not the greatest tasting.
With CEREC® an easily administered optical impression is made, which means you’ll barely feel a thing. The advanced digital image will also ensure a more precise fitting. The machine uses digital imaging technology to capture an image of the teeth and gums. Dr. Dr. Staten and her staff will then design the restoration right in front of you creating your custom crown.
You can even preview your tooth on our digital modeling system and then push the start button on our milling machine right here at our private practice!
One Single Dental Appointment
Ceramic crowns, onlays or veneers will take a single visit ! In the past the dental impression would be sent off to a lab. A lot of changes can occur while you make due with a temporary for upwards of a week. Now the very dentist that understands your situation can customize the tooth on-site. No third party hands mendling in your dental restoration. CEREC® is a proven technology with two decades of clinical research and documentation representing the latest advancement in chairside digital impressioning.
Through the use of this new technology, Dr. Staten can save more of the healthy tooth structure in her patients while giving them beautiful, tooth-colored restorations that are metal-free and durable.
