Galileos 3D Cat Scan Sirona
Advanced Technology Provides Advanced Dentistry
At Desert Hills Dental we use the most advanced technology in 3D imaging to help our patients receive the most accurate diagnosis and achieve the best possible outcome. Using the Galileos 3D Cat Scan Sirona, along with our computer software, allows for images to be sliced into fractions of a millimeter, providing an extremely accurate condition of areas of concern or in need of treatment. This aids the doctor in precision of root canal therapy, implant placements, full mouth reconstruction, nerve and pathology of the bone and surrounding areas.
With the use of advanced technology, the Galileos 3D Cat Scan Sirona in conjunction with the CEREC® system, we can now complete more of your dental needs in a single visit. Not only are we able to see more clearly the cause of many different ailments, but also the relationship between our patients’ bones, teeth, nerves, and airways.
The precision offered by these advanced technology tools is unmatched by any other technology available on the market. Now that we are able to capture this data more accurately, we are able to provide a more detailed treatment plan. Ultimately we are able to provide our patients with the advanced dentistry services they need in this technology driven age where time is such a precious resource.
Three dimensional imaging is the most current technology for precision medical services. At Desert Hills Dental we are dedicated to providing our patients with the best in care, and the Galileos and CEREC® systems offers just that. We can collect in a matter of just a few seconds, all of the data needed to diagnose and treat your dental challenges. Benefits of Galileo 3D
Precision and accuracy, our CEREC® and Galileos systems communicate superbly. The Galileos creates a surgical guide that the CEREC® will mill and use to ensure the best possible implant placement based on the data compiled by the Galileo system. Additionally, it can aid in the detection of the need for a sleep apnea appliance, and the precise images taken can be used to make the appliance. Based on the results of our Galileos scan, patients will be able to use these images to receive a proper diagnosis from their medical doctor, and along with another test will be able to receive their appliance “prescription” which we can precisely make, deliver, and monitor.
Galileos’ Safety and Convenience
At Desert Hills Dental we are aware of patients’ concerns about the dosage of radiation that comes along with dental X-Rays. That’s why we have the most current and up to date types of x-ray equipment and we observe the internationally valid ALARA principle (“as low as reasonable achievable”). Our Galilleos 3D cone beam is built with this in mind. To put into perspective how low a dose of radiation is with the Galilleos, it is equivalent to a long haul airplane flight. It is also the equivalent to a standard 2D full set of X-rays that you receive every couple years at your dental checkups, in fact it is 90 percent lower radiation exposure with our modern CBCT devices compared to conventional CT images. At Desert Hills Dentalm your safety and well being is always our top concern.
Our patients love the Galileos 3D technology used at Desert Hills Dental because it saves them so much time. The Galileos system allows our team to share information and coordinate dental treatment plans with doctors makes our patients’ care more efficient. When choosing a dental office, Desert Hills Dental offers the most advanced technology to provide you with the best care possible from analysis and diagnosis to treatment. We put your care first.
