Ways to make dental care affordable without insurance
There are three routes, and you can mix them: the Complete Care Program, financing, or staged treatment.
1. Join the Complete Care Program
The Complete Care Program is our in-house membership: $279 a year for children 15 and under, $389 a year for adults, and $479 a year for adult periodontal care.
It includes routine exams and cleanings, routine X-rays as needed, fluoride with every cleaning, and 20% off dental services. There’s no annual maximum, no deductible and no waiting period, and enrollment is immediate. The membership is with our office only, so it can’t be used at another dentist. For bigger treatment, Desert Hills Dental offers third-party financing through CareCredit and Cherry, each subject to its own approval.
- CareCredit: a health care credit card with special financing options, subject to credit approval. Its no-interest promotions are deferred interest: if the promotional balance isn’t paid in full by the end of the period, CareCredit says interest is charged from the purchase date.
- Cherry: a payment plan you apply for with a soft credit check, which Cherry says doesn’t affect your credit score. Its 0% APR options are subject to eligibility.
